Well, I'm sad to report that after defending VTech and their V-Motion gaming system, that ours died recently. I tried everything to get it going agin, nothing worked. Sadly, this isn't terribly uncommon, we had dozens of responses to our V-Motion review that indicated the same problem.

I am glad that you posted this Brian. I was trying to decide if I should invest in the v-motion system or not. Thanks for the info!

Sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Could anything have assisted in its farewell? Water being spilled? Thrown?

I know that my kids can be destructive at times and do things that I don't learn about to days later. Have you tried fresh batteries?

Also how old is the V-Motion? It may be under warranty and can be replaced.

All good thoughts, but I think this affliction is one of poor manufacturing. I've seen dozens of similar reports...sad but true.

This is kind of scary... I've heard nothing but good things about V-Motion, too.

My six year old really liked playing it. If I cannot find something comparable, I am thinking about getting a new one.

I have heard nothing but terrible reviews about V-tech and the such. It is like they don't even realize that kids are the target consumers and build around that. Kids drop things, get things wet, sticky, you name it. They just don't build them to withstand a young kid.
