My daughter is 6 and is having trouble finding some areas in the game. Is there an online map that shows which houses/places are in the areas? For example, she can't seem to find El Kiosko. Also, she can't figure out how to use the metal detector in the Medallion Mystery. Any help would be appreciated.

How To Find Areas In Dora Links

I don't know if you read our review, but we had the same issues. Kids have a difficult time, parents too for that matter, finding the right spots at times in DL. There's not a map that I'm aware of, it's trial and error.
As to the metal detector...we completed that mission during the review. I remember having to just wave it using the mouse in a mini-game if I'm not mistaken. She'll find cans that need to be recycled too. If that doesn't help, tell me where you're stuck and that might jog my memory.

We get confused a lot too with Dora links. It seems like we spend half of our time trying to figure out how to get somewhere. There really needs to be a better navigation tool set up.
I've actually started drawing out my own map for her. I've put the 5 main areas, School, Beach, Park, Dora's House, and the spot on the bottom of the map(not sure what it's called). Then I've listed the stores/areas and the people that reside there. This has helped her a lot and saved me time clicking through all the screens trying to find the areas. The one place I still can't find is El Kiosko to purchase a magazine.

Ahhh, the magazine kiosk. I don't remember where that is - sorry.
That's a good idea, to write it down for her. But even so, getting to the right section is only half the battle. Then you have to guess around the sidewalks until you find the right spot. I guess after a while she'll have it memorized
