I bought the V-tech camera for my son, he thought it was okay. He did not like how the screen was so small, and also the limited memory capacity.

We actually reviewed that camera and came to the same conclusion. At the price a cheap digital runs these days, most kids prefer the real thing.

I would second the conclusion. You can get a low cost camera at around $80 and let your kid sport that. You can get best deals during X-mas and thanks giving. So benefit from them.

I was thinking to buy V-tech camera but when i read its review i don't found it so interesting so i go another cam. You should try to read reviews about the stuff you want to buy first and then go for it to save your time and money

The thing that worries me about real digital cameras is how easy they are to break. Is the V-Tech camera durable, or is it easily breakable like a real digital camera?

It's durable but as cupcake says - the quality isn't that great.

Someone needs to come out with a durable camera that really does take decent pictures. My little guy is begging me for a camera. I cringe everytime he walks around the house with my camera, but he has so much fun with it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that maybe something will come out before christmas.
