Do you follow the ESRB Ratings when buying games for your children? CJ likes playing some video games on my DS, and I try to find some geared more towards his age. What do you look for in video games?

Not really - but my son is only 6 - I can pretty clearly tell what's good or not for him. Even so, the ratings tend to be pretty conservative, but I'm glad they're in place for parents to know what to expect, especially in terms of violence.

Yes of course. My daughter is a youngin, so I don't get her too many games anyways. We have a wii and she enjoys anything to do with Mario. Once she gets older, I'm bringing out my NES and we're going to have a good time getting to know the past. :)

I have a few M rated games though, and I make sure to play them when she's asleep.
